Addressing concerns about work and benefits can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to. You don’t need to be a certified benefits counselor to have conversations about work and benefits with potential jobseekers. In fact, having these conversations early and often is vital. This quarterly training will describe the role of disability service professionals in addressing work and benefits, share resources for day and employment staff on the topic, and demonstrate how to have conversations about work and benefits with jobseekers and their support team.
